All classes are located at the Yoga Shala except for the Monday and Friday morning class on *Marrowstone

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Introductory classes give a person new to yoga full descriptions of how to safely come into and out of the basic yoga postures. There will be a focus on proper breathing and alignment, along with learning how to use the postures to strengthen, stretch, and relax the body/mind.

Basic level classes are for students with prior yoga experience. There will be a strong focus on poses that develop core strength, inner stability, and balance. The breath will be our guide and constant companion during class. Special emphasis will be given to alignment in order to build and maintain healthy joints.

Continuing yoga is a class for practitioners who would like to deepen their knowledge of yoga and explore more advanced postures. Inversions, backbends, and forward bends will be practiced and refined. This class is appropriate for anyone with a home practice and who would enjoy the challenge of a vigorous yoga practice.

Gentle yoga is a slower-paced class that uses postures and breathing to relax mind and body. No experience is necessary.

FEES
$10 per class 
$60 per private session

Lastly, a lack of funds shouldn’t be an obstacle to studying yoga - so other arrangements can be made.
